Hi all. I’m still struggling with my diagnosis and anxiety over whether this really is Fibro. I have widespread pain, sore muscles all over but tingling and numbness on right side only when it comes. Have Migraine, Ibs and twitching too but now when I’m sleeping, my arm will jump/jerk or my hand. Not just a twitch and it’s really scaring me! Does anyone else have this? Mri and bloods all clear. Many thanks.

Oh Evane I am sorry these brutal symptoms are frightening. It is hard when your body does strange things you haven’t seen before. My twitches happen particularly at a tired night, making me extra vulnerable to anxiety on top of the twitching too, A good thing is a bath before bed or a sprayable heating pad (H2O), See if those help. 🧡🌼🧡🌼🧡 Jan
I had to go to many before i found a good pcp and good team. I only lac a good rheumatologist- have hope .
Also, with the tingling and numbness on one side, you should continue to be evaluated. Some of those symptoms are reported by people with multiple sclerosis.
I have had similar movements, especially when I’m trying to go to sleep. My rheumatologist put me on some Pramipexole which can be given for restless leg syndrome or Parkinson’s disease. I started on s low dose and have moved up to 1 mg at night. This usually helps unless I am in a lot of pain, I’ve gone somewhere in the evening, or I’m worried/stressed about something. I have a program on my phone called “Calm”, that I can listen to relaxing music, nature sounds, or a bedtime story. I use this every night to help me hold still and go to sleep.
It happens to me every night while im in bed, last night my head really badly jerked it woke me up, and sometimes my whole body will jerk and it almost feels like im going to fall out of bed x
