My whole body, my face my arms my legs everything just feels like its on fire(especially my face) almost like im sunburnt too. But my hands and feet stay cold. Unfortunately with fibro our bodies are very sensitive to cold but at the same time we get overheated very easily. It is a no win situation. Simple things like taking a hot shower, bath or using a heating pad can help warm up the cold areas. The burning pain and skin sensitivity is a side effect from the fibro. Some people take lyrica and gabapentin with good effect
Now that I'm reading this question again, I'm thinking about how this is also a symptom of Lupus. Have you ever had an ANA?

The skin burning is one of my least favorite parts. My boyfriend can't even put his hand on me because if my clothes rub or someone rubs up against me, it feels like I have the worst sunburn ever. I'm glad I'm not alone, thank you @A MyFibroTeam Member for answering that.
Regulating body temperature is really common with fibromyalgia it's very distressing I've had years of sweats then cold again in minutes x
