This has happened three times in the past dozen years including when I had a fentanyl patch on. Now I can't get short-term pain meds and do not want to go back on full-time ones after detoxing. Anyone with the same problem?

One can overdose from chewing femtanyl patches. Marijuana has shown positive pain relief as an alternative to narcotics. Have you considered this?

BrettHusebye, chewing them would be scary and couldn't you possibly overdose? I know I often had to tape them on to make them stick. My current problem is with hydrocodone, but the other was Percocet. So frustrated!

You have a good Dr. ! I am convinced after three different labs gave me a false negative that something is different in my system. (I've only ever had these three urine tests so they're all wrong.) Thanks for replying!

@A MyFibroTeam Member, I have had a false negative on my methadone once when I had my ua at the dr's. He still refilled my script but sent my ua out to another facility to check to make sure I wasn't selling my methadone, but taking my doses!
