I started the keto diet Sept 20th and had success the first three weeks but now I’m at a standstill and I’m getting very down about it all. I realize you gain weight and lose it throughout this diet but I get so mad when I’ve been so good then I step on the scales and I e gained! I was really bad this weekend for the first time so I’m not even going near the scales today! Lol. I guess I’m not doing everything exactly but just cutting out my bread, potatoes, pasta and rice along with sweets, the weight should be falling off me cause I have a lot to lose! Of course being in a flare with this weather and hurting my left arm/shoulder almost two weeks ago doesn’t help matters any but I have to buckle back down and get serious again! Good luck whatever you decide!

I have never had good results from cutting out certain foods from my diet! The best lifestyle changes I have made that have helped were going on www, slimmingworld. com, lost 46 lbs in 31 weeks with no exercise and ate lots of pasta, rice and potatoes. Love carbs and this health style changed how bad I felt. Everyone is different and reacts differently on food changes. So what works for one doesn't always work for another one! We all need to find our own path! Happy day today to all my friends and sister's!

Cutting out sugar and flour has helped me immensely especially Ibs and inflammation, the main culprit.

Oh yes, as far as pain relief from not eating sugar etc, I have had absolutely no relief whatsoever!! I’ve read on here from a lot of people that cutting out sugar, starchy foods etc helped their pain immensely but like TeriArmstrongMcCarthy, it hasn’t helped me one bit pain wise!!!
