I am recently diagnosed and wanted to ask if anyone else suffers with itchy red rashes? They are mainly on my arms and neck and come and go daily. There is no theme to them I.e heat or pain levels but tend to arrive with a hot sweat. Thanks in advance for any responses xx

Members widely confirmed experiencing itchy red rashes with fibromyalgia, describing them appearing randomly on various body parts including the neck, chest, arms, legs, scalp, and trunk, often accompanied by intense heat, hot sweats, and sometimes serving as a warning sign before pain flares. Several members shared practical relief strategies including using soap-free body wash, applying aloe vera gel for itching, and noting that symptoms sometimes improved in cooler weather. A recurring theme was the uncertainty around whether rashes stem from fibromyalgia itself or medications, with members describing additional sensations like tingling skin after showers and nettle-like stinging in hands and feet after overexertion.

Hi, I am finding I am getting hot sweats and my scalp and back of my neck get incredibly itchy. Also sometimes after a shower my skin tingles all over and gets so itchy. It calms down after about half an hour but very uncomfortable. Also when I have done too much the palms of my hands and base of my feet start to tingle lije you have been stung by nettles or your hands and arms have gone to sleep. Anyone else find they have similar occurrences?

I also do but don’t know if they’re from any of the numerous medications I take or the Fibromyalgia itself. I get them on my tummy, back, and legs. They itch like crazy!

I get the rashes. I've been covered from my scalp to my ankles for about 4 months now. I think it's starting to calm down a little as the weather is turning colder.

Yes I often get random rashes. Seem to be mainly on my neck/upper chest area but can also be on legs or arms/hands. When the rash comes I get real hot where it is. Like you i have not been able to put it down to a theme/reason, they just randomly come and go. Often after getting them my pain gets worse, its almost for me a warning that a pain flare is coming.
