Do Any Of You Have A Hard Time Eating Healthy?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Our diet can play a role in our symptoms and symptom relief. I'm already semi-vegitarian, but I'm not really disciplined to get out of the processed junk and eat fresh/healthy... 😣

It’s hard to eat healthy when you feel so bad I find I will eat the most convenient and at hand food that is possible...this is so bad for me but when you can hardly get out of bed you take what you can get. I started keeping muscle milk on hand, it’s something.

I totally agree with you Stringbean. Since I retired and changed from a vegetarian diet to a vegan & gluten-free diet my pain has diminished considerably.

You have to be careful with this diet. My friends kidneys stopped working due to to much protein he was eating pls be careful. It took him 6 months to get over it and he was only on it for 2 weeks. Gentle hugs 💜

I found with following the diet I was given it is very challenging to not “cheat” but the huge BUT is that it does eliminate the symptoms of fibromyalgia. When I realize how much better I feel, following the diet becomes a need and not a want. It makes the whole situation more doable.

As Megan81 mentioned, I too started paying attention to how I felt a few hours to a day or so after I drank diet pop, high carb foods, etc. Most of the time - not very well. It took me quite awhile to figure that out. I need to lose quite a lot of weight, tho.
