Members shared strong agreement that cleaner eating helps manage fibromyalgia symptoms, with many reporting improvements in energy levels, reduced pain, better sleep, and fewer migraines when they focus on whole foods and avoid inflammatory triggers. Several members recommended eliminating or reducing gluten, dairy, sugar, MSG, aspartame, caffeine, and processed foods, while emphasizing fruits, vegetables, unprocessed meats, and natural sweeteners like honey or maple syrup, though many also acknowledged the challenge of strict adherence and the occasional need for treats or convenience foods. A recurring theme was the importance of listening to your body to identify personal triggers, staying active with gentle movement like daily walks, and giving yourself grace when perfection isn't possible.

I watched a documentry once about fibro and the dr said that we should avoid seven things as they affect our central nervous systems. They are: sugar, aspertame, alcohol, gluten, dairy, msg, and caffeine. I tried that and it helped a lot although I love my chocolates and a glass of wine at the end of the day helps to sooth the pain. And a cup of coffee in the morning gets me going. As for the other four, I dont even think about touching those as they meen trouble.

The Walking helps 100%... When its summer time I walk almost everyday until I got up to about 30 minutes... When I can do this it gives me energy for the rest of the day but now that it's cold and snowy outside I just sit in my recliner thinking about moving to Mexico so I can swim in the ocean every morning with no winters
