Does anybody get panic attacks when they are stressed? I get blackouts from this and don't know what to do.

I’m glad it was even a little bit useful. I had one earlier and it still sucks even knowing what it is,,but less than it was,,with fibro have to be grateful for “ not as bad” ,, I find the trick that works best is counting out of order,,, 3,9,47 etc,, apparently it reboots the brain?

I have had panic attacks for a while now,,, I kinda think that pain would of course trigger fear, why wouldn’t it? I have been to the hospital a couple times thinking I m having a heart attack and each time they know instantly I’m not, give me a pill and talk me down,,, I can feel it coming now and usually do my breathing excercises and talk myself down. I am sorry because I know they can be terrifying . Hugs😌

I started getting panic attacks about a year ago. First one was ridind on a highway with trucks either side of me. I wanted so badly to stop my car and just scream for someone to drive in my place. Somehow I managed to keep going. Next one was sitting happily in my lounge. Heart rate up and feeling like I was going to die. I went to my GP who said he could give me pills but suggested I face this thing with mind over body. Said tell yourself you won't die, it will pass. He was right I overcame it. You can to.

I just breathe in and out of my nose close my eyes and just try to relax.
