I recently went to the doctors to check for PVD which is narrowing of veins or clots in legs which surprising was negative. I have adema in the lower legs, my skin feels tight, my whole legs are very painful very difficult to walk, and my steadiness is not the best. Does anyone have these symptoms? So far my doctor doesnt know what is causing it. Could it be the fibro?

Well, the diuretics did help the water retention. I do still have a lot of inflammation showing in my blood tests. It doesn't hurt as much though as with all the extra water.
To many doctors blame fibro and dont do more tests so you need to be vigilant about getting more tests done or a second opinion.
If your body tells ya something isnt right dont take oh it's the fibro
i have a leasion on L3 and I have same synthoms
I have many of these symptoms, but I don't know if my skin is tight or if I'm stiff. I was seen in ER about 6 weeks ago and had ultrasound and x-ray. Negative results. I have low blood pressure. And had an MRI about 1 1/2 weeks ago was "fine". I haven't been using my legs so they have gotten weak, and the arthritis in my knees hurts worse from a 4 lb weight gain. I will be starting PT next week. I sure hope to have this back under control. Summer is a stinky time for leg problems, but really any season is. God bless you.
Yes i do i had the PVD also and it was negative in my case as well. I also have slight high blood pressure and my dr put me on hydochlorothiazide which is a bp med but also a dieretic (hope i spelt that right) after a couple of weeks the swelling went down and some of the tightness went away. My legs are my worst part they hurt constantly and are always so weak feeling and tired. Hope this helps you some.
