I have a pain starting at my knee going down to the bottoms of my feet when I walk. The pain wraps around my calves and my shins and its a sharp burning pain.

Docs havent been able to explain it so im wondering if its just from FM??

Usually my FM pain is achy, not sharp and burning. But im getting discouraged..

Members connected over the frustrating experience of sharp, burning leg and foot pain that differs from typical fibromyalgia achiness, with many sharing that their doctors initially struggled to explain it as well. Several members found relief through gabapentin for nerve pain, Epsom salt baths, Salonpas patches, vitamin D and B12 supplementation, and cortisone shots, while others discovered underlying causes like plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, or venous insufficiency after seeing specialists. A recurring theme was the importance of ruling out other conditions through testing and specialist referrals, including checking for vitamin deficiencies, nerve compression in the spine, and vascular issues, even when answers feel frustratingly slow to come.

I take gabapentin and that helps me quite a bit with that pain. Before i started i just powered through, limping, being miserable. Got to where i had trouble walking.
