Where and why do you have the swollen lymph node? Did you have biopsy? Imaging? College of mine had fist size lymph node under jaw, even after biopsy and imaging could not identify any disease, but doctors were considering removing it. The possible consequences were so severe that my college decided against it. Took 2 years for the lymph node to very slowly go down. Past 5 years did not return. Every case is different, I would discuss it with multiple doctors.

Yes it's always there, but my overall symptoms go up and down. In relation to the size of the node suggest that my lymphatic system is stressed. interestingly though I've found that weightlifting and intense exercise has done a lot more good than harm. Despite what most people will say on hear about exercise

Your post caught my attention because I was diagnosed a few mo ago with swollen lymph nodes and thyroid nodules. I have had pain in that area for 6 months.
Some days The pain is so severe I can hardly stand it.
Is your pain consistent?
