Members shared mixed experiences with Cymbalta for fibromyalgia, with some finding it helpful for pain and depression while others reported serious side effects like aggression, mood changes, and dangerous sleep disturbances. Several members emphasized that withdrawal symptoms can be severe and difficult, noting that missing even a single dose can trigger uncomfortable effects, making it challenging to stop the medication. A recurring theme was that medication responses vary widely from person to person, with many members finding success through combinations like Cymbalta with Gabapentin or switching entirely to alternatives like Gabapentin or Lyrica when Cymbalta stopped working or caused intolerable side effects.

Cymbalta can work! I reccommend 30 mg in the day, then 30 mg in the evening, spacing out the doses helped me feel less side effects and it took away most of the pain :)

Cymbalta can be very beneficial. However it is a medication with withdrawal symptoms when you miss a dose or stop altogether

Hi I take Cymbalta and it seems to help but I noticed since I've been on it I have a hard time trying to wake up in the morning. I have to force myself to get up I could stay in bed all day .
