I know Chronic Fatigue is par for the course of what we are going through, but does anyone on hear have any solutions as to what supplements that will help? My fatigue is so bad I often cry.
We process protein at a higher rate than healthy people do. Try to eat or drink some protein every 2 hours, 80-100 grams daily.
D-Ribose in powder form 5 grams, 3 times a day helps your Mitochondria with energy production.
I take B12 and vitamin E supplements. I heard CQ012 was also helpful and will give it a try soon. It helps abit but only started about a week ago so time will tell. My sleeping pattern is all mixed up because I can only sleep a few hours at a time due to pain therefore find myself taking lots of naps during the day. Often when I'm awake I still feel so sleepy and sluggish I find I cannot accomplish much. This chronic fatigue is terrible. I find I could do so much more with my life if I was more alert and not so tired. Hopefully someone will have a good recommendation that might work for us.
Hi Kathy - yep, it's part of this lovely illness.
Like you, the fatigue is so debilitating that I've had many crying spells. I've NEVER felt so lazy in my entire life!!
I've lost so many "friends" over this disease, it's ridiculous (obviously, if they were real friends they'd still be around)!!
The friends I'm around the most now, knew me before this and now with it, and understand my frustration with myself over not being able to do the things I used too.
When I'm at their place they won't even let me put my dishes in the sink, much less anything else. They'll yell at me if I try - crazy kids ππ
(I'm 53, they're both in their 70's), simply put, as they say, I'm just one of the family (although the others have to help clean and I don't hee hee)
Gentle hugs to all π€π€
Thank you everyone for β€ and your suggestions. I adore you all
