Members responded to a question about chest bone popping with a mix of shared experiences and reassurance that it may be related to fibromyalgia or normal joint mechanics. Several members described similar symptoms, including costochondritis (chest and rib pain), hypermobility causing popping sensations, and joints naturally popping like knees or elbows, with one member explaining that a joint in the rib cage allows ribs to open like butterfly wings. A recurring theme was encouraging the original poster to mention it to their doctor while also validating that unusual body sensations are common with fibromyalgia.

I get pain in my rib cage sometimes,
but my angles are the worst,. When I walk my feet make cracking noises
and it feels like my bones are going
brake.
