I had a dr send me to physcical therapy and it put me in emergency 3 days in a row I had a massive epesode of fibro I could not walk and could barley stand it triggered
My fibro and some times when my back acts up it triggers a fibro attack does any one else have this happen ? I got my gullbladder taken out and it triggered an attack!
I think chiropractic is too violent for fibro, I have a remedial massage therapist instead now. The sudden thumping and pushing/clicking from a chiro is just too much and too alarming for the body.
I find massage also can do that to me....it can be very painful.
I had the same issues with my previous chiropractor. My new one is very gentle while still getting the adjustments done. I’ve noticed that I don’t flare up very often with her like I did with my previous one.
I've had fibro for 30 years and been to many chiro' s in that time. I used to have to wait 3 or 4 days in between adjustments because I'm always too sort a to touch right away. I just started with a new chiro to see if he can unpinch my nerves from herniatiated discs in my low back. I'm hoping he can help because my next step is surgery. I have been monday, wed and Fri for 3 weeks now and he has been able to adjust me every time. He uses a drop table and an activator which is the little clicky thing.
Lol. He does not twist me which apparently is too much for fibro. I am hurting a little more than normal but fibro does flare up a little from the adjustments. I think it is worth it if you find a good chiro. Good luck.
