One of the issues I deal with often is getting sick to my stomach, to the point of throwing up. I’ve been scoped, ate radioactive eggs and been xrayed, it just seems to be something unexplained or stress related. I know that damage can be done over time to the throat. I’ve always had that random closing of my throat but it lasted seconds....this feels like there is no room in my throat for much more than drinking.
Any thoughts?

I tend to get gastritis -> ulcers from time to time that causes me to have GI distress including vomiting. I try to watch what I eat and avoid eating before laying down. (mi also have a hiatal hernia) . All diagnosed after a I am on Omeprazole @ hs to help with the gastric secretions. And elevating my head with bricks under the head of bedframe and pillows. All diagnosed after an endoscopy.
Okay Jess. Remember to listen to your body and make a food journal so you know what triggers your stomach and throat. Most likely you will need an endoscopy. Call a GI dr to get one. They are painless and should be an easy process. I had both colon and ando at once I am glad I did. I have grade A esophagitis and Chronic Gastritis. Doctors don't treat gut permeability. They believe in prescribing antacids which actually destroy the healthy natural stomach juices produced by your body. Something isn't right somewhere, you will find out what is triggering this whether it be stress or intestinal. I am happy to help you if you need more information on healthy gut bacteria and natural remedies to help fix your gut balance
Have they tested you for Hpylori? I had that. My throat kills me at times and there is no explanation. I would maybe keep a toothbrush with you to brush your teeth right after just so the bile doesn't bother your teeth. I do feel nauseated too but take ginger tea to help with that so luckily I don't vomit. Good luck to you, i feel for ya.
Leaky gut can cause vomiting. I have dealt with this many times when I eat something I cannot digest. Your body will make you vomit it back up because your stomach or intestines cannot do the work your body needs to digest the food. I have severe candida sensitivities (have suffered from yeast infections since I hit puberty, later to get both oral and below) never put 2 and 2 together until a naturopath told me about it and I began to study. Keep a journal of what you eat and drink. Stick to soft digestible foods. There are lists on the web. Feel better!
