It was originally thought I had PMR because my pain and stiffness centres round my head, shoulders and hips. I do get pain everywhere of course, but it’s considerably worse in those places.
Around my neck shoulders and upper body trigger points is the worst, i usually do ic ed or heat
Neck, shoulders, and hips are bad for me too. I had read that fibromyalgia causes inflammation of the connective tissue in our body. Connective tissue is the white stuff that hols everything together. Maybe there is more connective tissue in those area . Theres a therapy called Myofascial Release Therapy. Fascia is the connective tissue. Its specialized stretching which can help peoploe with fibro. Once you learn the techniques you can do it at home. I haven't tried it yet, but I will start in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping for some relief from it. Maybe it can help you too.
Sorry for the slow reply, I’m still trying to figure out the site and get a hold of my symptoms. I guess the first one will be the easiest one to do
