There are lumps appearing on different parts of my body. When touched, they aren't hard but it hurts and burns all at the same time. When clothes hit them, I get the same reaction. It seems like new ones pop up all the time and not going away. Has anyone else experienced this?
Yes, and before I was diagnosed properly. A chiropractor told me to rub them out... well that didn't happen. The pain was excruciating. I still get them in my hips and lower back. My doc injects my thighs with a steroid and it helps for a little while.
I didn't realize lipomas were painful. I have two fairly large; one one either side of my neck. The only concern was cancer. That was ruled out by a CT scan. I go to a pain doctor who saw the ones on my legs and arm. She just poo-pooed it after looking at them. Looks like more fighting for my cause is in order. Thank you for the information. It was very helpful.
Ironically my primary doctor has never seen that before. Thank you for your help.
These trigger points are mean and horrific
Thank you everyone for some insight. The choices don't sound pretty but this disease isn't either
