I heard that the sun helps reduce pain. Unfortunately scotland isn’t blessed with much sun!

Im aware sunbeds aren’t a great idea but i also read they can help as they lift your mood.

Can anyone confirm this please?

Just take vitamin D. Sunbeds do you harm. Feel nice at the time ..but,!!!

I’ve only used them a couple of times but it did feel great! As bad as they can be for you, a friend of mine had her doctor tell her to go use one because it would help with her depression! I guess it is like the Vitamin D we get from the sun. I’m not sure if the idea that we set this twenty minutes or whatever aside just for ourselves also helps us? If I had one at home, I would use it all the time cause then I could just throw my housecoat on and continue to relax!!! But having to go out to use one, get undressed, get dressed again and have to go out in the cold and get in the car to drive home is such a waste of time cause then I feel shitty all over from all the activity just to get home again! The same goes for swimming or a hot tub for me cause trying to pull my clothes on over a damp body is more pain than I had before I went! Again, if I had one at home and could just throw a housecoat on, it would be perfect!!!

They say they cause cancer more than the sun so be very careful if you use them. They do feel good though. A full body heating pad is what they feel like.
