I Am Finding It Difficult To Actually Get Diagnosed With Fibromyalgia. How Can I Get A Confirmed Diagnosis?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have many symptoms of Fibromyalgia. I have seen my GP and rheumatologist, had various scans but I am finding it very difficult to get an actual diagnosis. My tests and scans confirm that I do not have RA, but mild osteoporosis in a few joints.

This is the most recent check list I got from my doctor to diagnose fibromyalgia. Hope it helps!

Haven’t any of them done the pressure point check? That is the only way I know of that you can be diagnosed with Fibro!! Ask on your next visit for whichever doctor to do it! If you don’t have enough positive pressure points, give it a year and ask them again and I’m sure you’ll pass them! First time my doctor tried, I only had a few but I had pain everywhere in my body! About a year later he tried again and sure enough, almost every single spot sent me to the roof when he touched it!! Good luck, not that I’m wishing you a diagnosis of fibro!

I also think that having a doctor who believes in fibro is helpfull too as theres a few who still seem to see it as "hypochondriac syndrom".xxx
