The Aches overtake my life. On disability and on Cymbalta but Not helping. My family doc said my Triglycerides were up over 289+ and said Statin will help. Not sure and am on 8 meds for Osteoarthritis in Multiple joints and BP med. Headaches too. Just want to sleep lately and Isolate. Force myself to Socialize.

Cut down on all fats in your diet to lower your triglycerides. Is your cholesterol high as well? Statins are generally prescribed for high cholesterol. Welchol is a good prescription for triglycerides. If you decide to take the statin start with a low dose no more than three days a week. There has been a shift in the way statin drugs are prescribed because of the side effects (muscle weakness, pain, etc.) These drugs can make your fibromyalgia symptoms worse. It happened to me.
