Members connected over the question of whether strong-smelling urine is a fibromyalgia symptom, with many acknowledging they experience it too, though experiences and theories varied widely. Several members shared practical advice including drinking more water to prevent concentrated urine, taking cranberry tablets or juice to support bladder health, and being vigilant about urinary tract infections that can escalate to more serious kidney issues. A recurring theme was uncertainty about the root cause, with members attributing the smell to medications, dehydration, bladder conditions like interstitial cystitis, or flare-ups themselves, though some long-time fibromyalgia patients had never experienced it at all.

Wow makes sense. Thought I had a UTI but maybe not. I am in a full flare but noticed strong smelling urine about three days prior and of course during.
