Tired Jaw
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ok, I'm not sure if this is a part of fibro or not. I was talking and my jaw felt so tired that I had to shut up !! That's never happened to me before. Not a whole lot keeps me quite so this can't happen often, lol.

I was also told by my rheumatologist who diagnosed me that a lot of fibro patients grind their teeth when they slerp contributed to jaw pain and TMJ.

When I was at university, which was a long time ago, my jaw used to crack when I opened my mouth and it made a strange sound. Later I got my top teeth out and a plate in place. Problem gone. I think it was what I see others have called TMJ. I was under a lot of stress at university, so I am assuming that I either gritted or ground my teeth at night. Take my plate out a night. No grinding.
