Ok, I'm not sure if this is a part of fibro or not. I was talking and my jaw felt so tired that I had to shut up !! That's never happened to me before. Not a whole lot keeps me quite so this can't happen often, lol.

I was also told by my rheumatologist who diagnosed me that a lot of fibro patients grind their teeth when they slerp contributed to jaw pain and TMJ.
When I was at university, which was a long time ago, my jaw used to crack when I opened my mouth and it made a strange sound. Later I got my top teeth out and a plate in place. Problem gone. I think it was what I see others have called TMJ. I was under a lot of stress at university, so I am assuming that I either gritted or ground my teeth at night. Take my plate out a night. No grinding.
Never really thought about it but now that u mention it I do seem to have jaw pain & tiredness & don't want to eat.
YES!! Sister!! TMJ!! Is hallmark for Fibro! I was told that by my ex (retired 1* Care MD! I about stroke out!! Thought I was coo coo!! Chewing gum makes it worse!! Place a pencil between your teeth & it will relax the jaw muscles... or putting hot compresses!!
