Members shared experiences with eye pain and discoloration, with several describing conditions like uveitis, ocular rosacea, and symptoms including light sensitivity, dryness, blurred vision, and stabbing pain that made it difficult to focus. Many community members described their journeys through multiple specialists including ophthalmologists, neurologists, and rheumatologists, with some finding relief through prescription ointments, antibiotic drops, green tea compresses, chiropractic care, and acupuncture, while others continued searching for answers after inconclusive tests and differing medical opinions. A recurring theme was the frustration of navigating complex symptoms without clear diagnoses, balanced by the comfort of not feeling alone and the willingness to explore both conventional and alternative treatments to find what works.

It is Benadryl topical cream.
It seemed to have helped for part of my day yesterday.

Ive had this! Makes it hard to focus my eyes sometimes. They hurt and get purpley. I highly reccomend seeing someone specialized in multiple forms of alternative medicine. They see stuff like this and can make way better treatment recommendations.
When you see the neurologist, ask about cluster headaches too.
I soak a washcloth in green tea after its cooled and lay it over my eyes. Theres other treatments, this one works for me sometimes at least. Best of luck to you. ♡

Yes I get random stabbing pain in my eyes sometimes but it does go away. I do wear glasses though. Don't think I've ever had purple eyelids before but definitely get purple under the eyes lol

Not me. But I wouldn't hold my breath because with this condition, you never know what you will end up having.

My eyes are always sore and often feel extremely tired and dry. I am going to an optometrist in January to make sure there is nothing really wrong, but I am sure it is fibro. Never heard of Benadryl on the eyes before, though. Good luck.
