Extreme Tight Feeling Under Chest - Costochondritis??
I cannot tell what is going on - i have so kuch tightness ariund my “middle”
My research keeps coming up with costochindritis but the tightness seems to be concentrates in like my diaphragm
It seems to be the worst in the middle of the night and tonight its really bad
I do not feel like im habing a heart attack (as i have seen when reading anout chest pain). It feels more like a TIGHT band around the bottom of my chest/too of my abdomen

@A MyFibroTeam Member. i am glad you went to get checked. I know it is frusterating but safer to be sure. Now you know it is probably chondritis. There is no cure for it but ask your doctor for muscle relaxers and higher dose ibuprofen. That is what i do when i have a flare up of anything that is from inflamation. I hope you feel better soon. It very well could be condritis but since yiu are short of breath please get checked out. It is better to go than end up having a heart issue. Please keep us informed.

I am having that exact tightness! I don’t have the “can’t catch my breath” issue. Just a lot of nausea. I have been to all the docs and just recently to the Mayo Clinic. Apparently I am healthy. I follow up with my family doctor this week.
Anyone Have Issues Like Ribs Are Settling Or Cracking In Place? Feels Like Moving On Top Of The Other One Or Adjusting Or Something Strange.
