A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

This question is mainly for fun... what is one small task that you've done recently that felt great?

Sometimes for me even getting a shower is a major accomplishment.

Janet,
I find it is always best to count your blessings. I am always surprised at how much our Lord has blessed me! When you focus on the negative you are for sure not going to be happy. Giving makes us happy. I found what is more difficult for me is to receive. A friend told me years ago that if it makes me feel so good to give, don't you think you should give people that love you that same opportunity? It is so true that I really try hard to let people help when I need help. It still is not as easy for me as giving but I focus on how good my friends & family feel to have helped me. I hope you are having a great day, you are such a lovely person! Big gentle hugs & healing prayers & a lot of love go out to you!

@A MyFibroTeam Member Thanks!
I have a friend who focuses on what she doesn't receive for special occasions from her kids and husband, and is unhappy. I'd rather focus on what I can give, and that makes me happy.

My small task for this week was sending out Valentine's... a few cards to relatives, a package mailed to a mourning friend, a delivery to a neighbor, and small gift bags for my kids and hubby. That's what makes it a good V-day for me. It was fun to see all the pretty on-site wishes, too. :)

Janet,
The one thing I am grateful for about this illness is that my walk with God has become so much closer. He has certainly blessed me & my family beyond measure & I could sing his praises for eternity. He fills me with joy & Peace no matter how I feel. I hope you are doing well Janet, you are such a bright & beautiful spirit on here & I always appreciate your posts! Gentle hugs & healing prayers go out to you!
