I get pain behind my ears and itching inside on occasion. The symptoms you are having, the tingling, the redness and heat sound like an allergic reaction, maybe to a medicine you are taking. You can have an allergic reaction even if you have taken meds for a while. You should ask your doctor or phamacist about it. I had these symptoms years ago from iodine(seafood). I went to the er twice in one week for it. The first time i had hives all over. Then 3 days later i ate tuna fish and my lips and ears got red and swollen and itched bad. Please check into this because allergic reactions can get worse and become dangerous. Keep us informed. Hugs.

That sounds awful. I don't have hives but definitely sensitive to smells and also certain fibers like wool and polyester. It makes my skin itch.

My ears itch often now. I get severe hives and allergic reactions to lots of things but my itchy ears don't seem to be tied to my hives. I have TMJ and doc said it can cause tingling, pain. My Dad had itchy ears all of his life! He was forever fussing about them.

I am on Singulair at night and Xyzal twice a day for my allergies and I also have a rescue inhaler for my asthma. I have an Epi-pen now after having a severe reaction to a wasp sting.

Sometimes I even have to take Benadryl on top of that for an immediate allergic response to something.

Currently I have to use Free & Clear soap and Shampoo/Conditioner products that Walgreen's carries because my whole body is hypersensitive to fragrances, dyes, preservatives, etc.

@A MyFibroTeam Member. It is a trial and error thing trying to find the right meds to help us. I hope the new combo helps you without wanting to eat everything sweet in sight. Been there done that. I wish they would have a med that would make us lose weight. Wouldn't that be nice. Good luck and have a great day.
