@A MyFibroTeam Member, I sometimes get hot swollen feet from activity like walking, especially when it is hot out. But the non healing mouth sores concern me. We all get them, even those without any health issues, but the should heal up after a rew days. It could be medication you're on or may be a symptom of something else. I would go to my PCP and let her know of all the things you are experiencing to be on the safe side. And I know salt water does help, but I've had better success with a good quality Greek yogurt like Chobani, it's very soothing and helps balance the good probiotics in your system. Hope you feel better soon !
check with an ortho person about the knees, sometimes they can help buy injecting a steroid and a numbing medicine or a lubricating substance like synovisc to make the joint move more freely. if you can tolerate anti-inflammatories try using a medicine like alive taken with food if your kidneys and heart is ok. Elevate your knees and ice them for twenty min after activity, always keep ice off the skin. Sometimes when people are under stress canker sores seem to last a long time . rinsing your mouth with salt water before and after eating may help. I had a doc burn mine with something like a match head. That was no good. If the patches are just white they could be something called leuoplakia which may be a precurser to cancer.
My daughter also has numbness and pins and needles on her feet if she gets cold. Do you have this too?
My 17 yr old daughter can’t stand for 15 min or longer without her knees turning bright red, burning hot to the touch her feet get red and swell too! You can’t really tell from this picture how bad it really is! She is on no meds. We are trying to get in to a doctor to figure it out. It has been happening for a few years just getting worse. I have one more pic I will post on the next response too
My husband has Ankylosing Spondylitis and had a specialist tell him to take extra zinc and folic acid for mouth ulcers. Doing so has helped him now for 15 years. Perhaps that will help someone.
