My hands ache and itch intact I have itching skin everywhere my thumb are always locking and its very painful I have to let them unlock on there own them gentle masarge them but they end up hurting for hours after sometime for a few days after

My hands ache a lot but mostly when at work (Accounts Payable) since I key punch a lot. I’ve had Carpel Tunnel surgery on both hands. R hand done 8/17. The first one helped but this one still hurts. Doc says it takes at least 4 mo. to heal. His took about a yr. The aching pain is very aggravating.

I also suffered from carpel tunnel. Resorted to wearing braces on my hands and wrists available at any pharmacy. I wore them mainly at night and in just a matter of a few days to a week or so I was getting better. Wear them everynight for relief during the day. My hands hurt so bad I could not sleep. Now I can go without the braces most of the time. Just my own experience.

I have both fibro and osteoarthritis. My thumbs on both hands always feel like they ate jammed. My fingers itch and r always swollen. I have carpal tunnel in both and had surgery in my right hand in June 2016. I still get tinglingly in my hands, fingers and elbows. Certain weather like cold, rain, fog cause the feelings in my hands. But jammed thumbs and itchy fingers everyday. Not as bad now as it was when I worked. Can't open bottles or cans or zip lock bags. My hands hurt alot of the time but they don't itch. Somedays it hurts to just make a fist.or pick anything up. I also have a finger, usually my pointer finger, that locks up and hurts really bad just to bend it. It feels like it will break to bend it. Does anyone else have this happen? It only lasts about a minute but seems like alot longer. I hope your pain gets better.
