I have been suffering from severe jaw, face and Teeth Pain off and on for several months now. It randomly comes and goes and can last for weeks at a time. The pain is excruciating and nothing seems to help. I am trying to figure out if this is my Fibro or if it something else like a sinus infection. I have seen a dentist and my teeth all check out Good. Does anyone else suffer from this horrible pain? Help!

I use a mouthgard made from my dentist. It's clear and I can wear it day and night. Pricey and takes a while to get used to but it works for me.
I have facial pain along one side from ear to temple and spreading across upper jaw. It isn't my teeth either and it is intermittent. I have the sense that it is muscular and possibly part of my neck/ head pain. I use heat, ice and tylenol. If something else works, I'll try it. Best wishes.
It is probably tmj. i have it and it comes on out of nowhere. sometimes it goes right away other times it lasts for weeks. I use ice or heat on my face but nothing works very much. I don't know why the dentist didn't tell you about tmj. It is a symptom of fibro. I hope it gets better soon.
Update! I went to a walk-in and the doctor said that it is TMJ. He gave me a prescription for anti-inflammatories, said to apply ice, eat a liquid diet for a week and get a mouth guard for sleeping. Just another thing to add to my list of bizarre symptoms! Thank you for all of the replies to my question. It feels reassuring to hear from others who are going through similar situations.
I also suffer from severe jaw pain and parietal (top of head) pain. It's very sporadic; no rhyme or reason to either pain! Fortunately, it doesn't usually last too long.
