Hurts mostly when chewing and only on left side. Have noticed some discomfort in left side of nose and temple so could it be sinus related? Have been dealing with terrible flare of costochondritis and now this. Never a pain or anxiety free day.

I haven't had that but I have phantom tooth pain, comes and goes & the dentist can't find the cause. I read that it's a symptom of Fibro. I have lived yrs. never having a day w/o pain or anxiety and sometimes panic attacks. I am sorry for you pain.

Its TMJ, i have it if i chew stuff very long like tough meat or gum. Sometimes, i have to take a muscle relaxer and wrap my heating pad around my head to sleep. I clinch my teeth at night, some people grind theirs. You may need an appliance to put in your mouth, ask your dentist.

If you like to chew gum, this can contribute to jaw pain..

I get pain in my jaw. Different coins different times. Because of course, we can’t have anything that makes sense😂🤪I grind my teeth at night, so sometimes it’s that type of pain. I always have a headache which sometimes turns into a migraine, and there is associated pain with my teeth. I massage back where my jaw connects. I do warmth. Sometimes these things help. I’ve also heard it is a symptom of ME/CFS and fibromyalgia.
Gentle hugs!
