Members shared tips about the original poster's question on managing clothing sensitivities with chronic conditions, with most agreeing that staying in pajamas, sweats, or loose-fitting clothing at home helps them feel more comfortable throughout the day. Several members recommended specific brands and strategies including Dress Barn and Walmart for loose clothing, Warner's non-underwire bras from JCPenney, Dreams and Co. for soft loungewear, Bali wireless bras for support, and shopping by feel rather than sight to find fabrics like rayon that are gentle on sensitive skin. A recurring theme was the struggle with restrictive clothing like bras and underwear causing pain or discomfort, with many members choosing to go without undergarments at home, buy clothing one size larger for comfort, and prioritize soft, flexible materials that don't aggravate pain or sensitive skin.

I won't wear a bra or undies in the house because anything close to my skin can hurt! When I go out unfortunately I have to wear undies but as soon as I'm in my door, they come off. Lots of sweatshirts and leggings inside the house, nothing tight ( I actually by clothing one size larger than I am for comfort ) worn with a nice belt or long shirt no one knows it but me. As for PJ's , I wear the fuzzy sleepers that look like onesie's that are for babies but with feet. They are so warm ,fuzzy and loose enough for two of me ( still cammando though )!

I am in pj's most of the time. I don't wear a bra except when I leave my house which is hardly ever. I found a company that makes great, soft, cute, and so soft They are made by Dreams and Co. They have sizes from size Small(12) to 5x not sure of the number. Hope that's not to much info

I wear a bra made by Bali which gives great support (I'm chesty), without underwire...you can probably find by searching Bali's wireless styles online.. If just running errands, I will put on a magic-bra or cotton sports bra. Haven't messed with underwire in years.

Yes I agree, comfy clothes are a must. What I find most difficult is not being able to wear a bra of any type, not even a sports bra. Often even the pressure of a tank-top is too much. Wearing layers to hide this is easier in the winter, but still makes it hard to wear most Shirts. Sometimes being a female really sucks.
