I first want to say if you have either of these conditions, I am so sorry. I personally don't have them but I have had many patients with Lymes and two really good friends that has it. If you are lucky enough to have a great doctor that can correctly diagnose it, that's half the battle. It's very difficult to diagnose and there can be a lot of false negatives.
The treatments are usually IV antibiotics. Lots of it. Your doctor will also put you on other medication that would be personal to you.
The good news is you can absolutely live with Lymes. Finding the right doctor is by far the most important thing to ensure a good quality of life.
The bad news is the symptoms mimic fibromyalgia so much. So you can expect the same sorts of symptoms and flares.
Hoping and praying you are doing well.

No, Everytime I see a doctor I tell them that I was never treated for it and they just look at me and say nothing!! It's very frustrating when they don't seem to listen to anything you say!!

Oh no! You have not been treated? Have you not found anyone to treat you? The thing with Lymes is the faster it's treated, the more success you will have to get it under control.
I hope you find someone soon!

Oh @A MyFibroTeam Member, I have both, and haven't everbeen treated for either. But when they flare, my temp goes high and my bp goes real low. I was just in the hospital for 4 days in June because of it. I need a good dr. So so bad!
