Yes, everything I eat burns my mouth. I have to have something in my mouth at all times or it gets so dry I can't even talk. It is horrible and gums are receding now.

Mine gets so bad sometime I can't even use toothpaste and I can only eat something that will go through a straw.

Yes! I have had about 5 episodes in the last 8 years:(. The first time I got it was after a long course of antibiotics for Lyme Disease. It was horrible and I had no idea what it was. I went to the ENT and he said some people get this but there is no treatment. I couldn't imagine living with it the rest of my life. It went away after 3 weeks. It has come back a few more times but now I know that it will run its course and hopefully go away again. Stay away from any acidic foods and brush your teeth with a mild toothpaste and Don't use mouthwash. I hope yours goes away soon.

The only thing that doesn't burn is coconut oil.
