Members connected over the surprising discovery of low vitamin D levels despite living in sunny climates or spending time outdoors, with many sharing that their doctors prescribed high-dose supplements ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 IU weekly to address deficiencies linked to fibromyalgia, neuropathy, and bone health. Several members described practical approaches including taking vitamin D with calcium twice daily, getting IV infusions when levels drop dangerously low, and having magnesium levels checked since deficiencies often occur together in people with fibromyalgia. A recurring theme was the debilitating fatigue that comes with low vitamin D, described by one member as being tired to the bone, along with recognition that chronic stress depletes vital nutrients and makes supplementation even more important.

Keep adding D. If you are low, it increases your fatigue.

My vitamin D has been just under normal for years and my magnesium was low where they had to give me a bag IV. Make sure your Doctors check that too it's common for us that have Fibromyalgia.
