Cryotherapy works for me. I would say when I used to be in horrible pain, the relief would last for about four hours. Totally worth it.
Anytime that you get pain free hours without drugs is great time!
I would try it. You have nothing to loose!

Hope that makes sense. It is both simple and complex

If I have a miracle cure, it would be the hot yoga. I would try to connect meditation and/or breathing in all locations, including home. You may get a transfer of a "relaxation response" from one setting to another, which is cool

I do hot yoga under infrared lights. I love it! It is so soothing.

Back in the 80's I did a couple of years of meditation with biofeedback. For 6 months I participated in a research project where I attempted to connect the meditation, biofeedback and sensory deprivation in a float tank. It was cool and all of these experiences can deepen your practice. I don't think I would have paid for it tho:)
