Members shared extensive advice on natural approaches to lowering blood pressure, with the ketogenic diet emerging as the most frequently recommended strategy, supported by numerous research links, clinical trials, and personal success stories of improved lab results and symptom management. Several members provided practical resources including specific doctors, podcasts, books, and websites, while also emphasizing the importance of healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil, and olive oil, incorporating fermented foods for gut health, and trying heart rate variability breathing exercises at roughly 5 breaths per minute. A recurring theme was the acknowledgment that while the ketogenic approach shows promise, it requires significant support, education about how ketosis works, and shouldn't be recommended without proper resources or follow-up, as members recognized the challenge of affording organic foods and sticking to restrictive diets long-term.

It does! I have a ninja. I just need to be more vigilant with using it. I do use a plant based protein powder which I love. Have you found that eating less meat helped with everything like pain, energy level?

I eat a more plant based diet these days (with small portions of chicken or seafood), avoid sugar. I also take fish oil supplements, garlic gels, and dropped about 10% of my body weight (which helped). Best investment I ever made was a Nutribullet (I don't endorse them or work for the company). Hope this helps.

I try to supply my body with healthier fat in nuts, olive oil, and weekly use my NB to make my own hummus which I load with good things. One green smoothie with plant / hemp powder, flax, berries, etc. and at least some of my hummus daily. I enjoy it. @A MyFibroTeam Member thanks fir the links I plan to read them later on my lunch break. Hope you are all doing ok today.

Add fermented foods to your diet for the huge amounts of probiotics they offer. Sauerkraut and kimche are two really good ones.
