The first gyno I saw told me I should get an IUD, I did not trust her enough, and then saw another doctor who specializes in problems like mine, she eventually, after many many months, suggested and IUD. And for me, it required that I be put under general anesthesia since my uterus is severely retroverted making it very difficult to place IUD without immense pain
