Educationquest online is a good tool to search for scholarships and to research schools and careers. They also give advice on the phone about how to fill out the FAFSA for grant money. I went back to school while our 2 oldest kids were in college and we all qualified for grant money. Mine was totally paid for that way until my last semester.

You should try looking into FASTA. I think they look at your income and then find scholarships. You can also talk to someone at the school you want to attend. The school has people who can help you find grant money.

Unfortunately there really are not many, especially if you are not interested in going into a field related to medical or STEM. That doesn't mean there are none- new scholarships crop up all the time. And your illnesses can give you a perspective for other, more generic scholarships that help make you stand out as a candidate for them.
