I feel like my legs are constantly vibrating...... I know...my boyfriend thinks I'm nuts too! But I feel it almost all the time. It is a mild sensation but annoying enough for me to want to ask if anyone else is feeling the same thing.

Members connected over the unsettling experience of internal tremors, with many describing a constant vibrating or shaking sensation in their legs that isn't visible to others, often dismissed by those around them as imaginary or anxiety-related. Several members shared that these tremors, sometimes called "internal tremors," are recognized symptoms of fibromyalgia and can be triggered by exertion, stress, or flare-ups, with some also experiencing muscle spasms, heavy limbs, burning sensations, and hand tremors that have been present since childhood. A recurring theme was the relief of being believed and understood by others who live with the same mysterious sensations, as well as the frustration of having to explain symptoms to skeptical loved ones, coworkers, or patients.

My hands tremor and sometimes my whole body. I actually had someone I worked with years ago before I was diagnosed say I had a drug or alcohol addiction and was going through withdrawal. My hands have been shaky since I was a kid. I went and had a test and was told I had non essential tremors, which they said are hereditary. My mother's hands also tremored. Now I am seeing that it could be a symptom of Fibro. Oh man as I look back I see more and more symptoms that I have had since I was young and never thought much of it. I am now 49 and have to explain to my patients (I am a RN) that I am not nervous taking their blood or giving them a shot I just have non essential tremors...ugh. I guess it's better then them thinking I am an addict.

I get tremors like this, but not all the time. Only on occasion, usually if I push myself too hard when I'm already having a bad day. I don't know if it's the same thing exactly, but I definitely get the same feeling you're talking about.

You are not nuts Tremors! I described it like I feel like my blood is flowing like a rushing river! It's a strange feeling. Then the burning started especially from knees down. Also, itchy hot hands too. Was told was fibro from rheumatologist. I've had it over 20?years now.
