I normally try sleep if traveling far takes my mind off the numbness and discomfort and use a really good bum cushion made for sitting long periods of time I also take a mild sedative just to cope with vibrations and my neck pillow comforts my head no matter how I'm traveling less stressful on my body .
The flight was fine - took a soft blanket a pair of soft cosy socks and snoozed a little all in all much better than expected- if only every travel experience was the same. Nothing for it I will have to fly everywhere 🚁✈️ 😂
Thank you all for your advice the holiday was amazing and my rowdy brood of adult children/ grandchildren and fur babies survived.... bring on the next one as my body loved the sunshine ☀️
I was dreading going on holiday with my adult family a few weeks ago thinking Im never going to cope but I was surprised that everything was fine and I actually felt really well. It was a 3 hour flight too but wasn't too bad. Hopefully you will have a great time.
Have a FABULOUS well deserved break! xxx
In addition to the above great advice, wear compression hose to keep aching down in your legs and feet. Be sure to drink pure water. Sparkling is fine. And just in case you're sensitive to sound, bring earplugs and lastly a few healthy snacks. I hope this helps. Have a great time.
