Members overwhelmingly related to experiencing severe pain on the side where the ribs meet the back, with many describing it as intense enough to affect sleep, movement, and daily activities. Several members identified the pain as costochondritis, a common fibromyalgia symptom caused by inflammation, and shared relief strategies including heating pads, wearing loose clothing to avoid pressure on sensitive areas, and adjusting sleep positions. A recurring theme was the unpredictable, sometimes debilitating nature of this pain, with members finding comfort in knowing they are not alone in this difficult symptom.
