The hand stiffness upon awakening is awful and I also have foot pain and stiffness. I don't see many others mention hand and foot pain.

Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing severe hand and foot pain and stiffness, especially upon waking, with many describing an inability to open bottles, type, hold pens, or even brush their hair due to swollen joints, numbness, and cramping that can last for hours. Several members found relief through pain medications like Tramadol and codeine, while one member shared that a seven-day juice cleanse helped reduce acidic buildup in their joints, though symptoms often returned over time. A recurring theme was the frustration of feeling dismissed by doctors, the fear of permanent loss of hand function, and the comfort of knowing they were not alone or going crazy in experiencing these debilitating symptoms.

Hi cath, yes this is awful, I drop things all the time. Also when brushing or styling hair my hand has such a pain it's like having a stitch in your ribs. My feet are terrible my chiropodist says I have the feet of an 87 yr old and 2 yrs ago my toenails started growing in, so she has to dig and cut them every 4 wks which is very painful.

my feet are really bad in bed and my hands hurt most of the time. Ive stopped wearing my wedding ring as my hands feel woollen and stiff. Typing is awkward too and just generally feels awkward. I find they are worse when its cold and I can hardly do anything with my hands. I haven't found anything that helps though but its good to know that it goes along with it all at least I am not going mad.

I too experience pain/stiffness in my joints, my hands especially gets the worst... I quite often have to sign my name at work on receipts and when it's at its worst my hand shakes due to the pain it causes me to focus on just holding the pen in my hand. However! I have found that doing a juice cleanse helps me alkeline my body and it releases acidic build-up in my joints which makes my joints feel smoother as though they've been oiled, and the pains are far less frequent and not as intense as they used to be. There is a point where you can feel a pop followed my a stinging/burning sensation as the acids leave the joints which does hurt a lot for about 5 min, but it's so worth it to have what feels like normal working joints again for a while afterwards. Of course this is what I have found works for me, I don't know if it would work for everyone. On the downside it is also a very inconvenient treatment as it's a 7 day cleanse which requires you to drink freshly made vegetable juices approx. every 2-3 hours and for that reason I have to book a week of from work to be able to do the cleanse properly.

My wrists, hands and fingers, and my ankles and feet hurt constantly. I can't make the fingers work the way I want sometimes and when I wake up in the morning, my feet feel like I've burned all the skin off them. My ankles today felt broken too!
