My spouse got social security disability but I wasn't easy. We filed directly and was turned down. Then we hired a law firm. "Binder & Binder". The specialize in fibro and really understand how it impairs your ability to work. The were so nice and help us through the process I was diagnosed in the past year and plan on reaching. Out to them if it gets so bad I can't work. One thing I would start doing is getting notes and recods from your doctor
