Hi,

Does anyone else get nauseous from too much fatigue? Today my fatigue was really bad, didn't manage to do anything all day and constant yawning. Then this evening all of a sudden I felt so sick, to the point where I was very close to throwing up.
This has happened a few times before and I was wondering if it's the same for anyone else?

Members confirmed that extreme fatigue often triggers nausea in people with fibromyalgia, with several sharing that pushing too hard without rest can lead to feeling sick or even vomiting. Many community members described practical strategies that help them manage this symptom, including eating small frequent meals to keep the stomach slightly full, staying on top of bowel regularity with gentle aids like Senna S, taking medications like Omeprazole for reflux, and adjusting carbohydrate and protein intake based on individual needs. A recurring theme was the importance of listening to your body's signals, resting immediately when nausea sets in, and experimenting with dietary changes to find what works best for you.

You might have ME aswell as Fibro and cfs and the sickness goes with all three. I used to get reflux all the time making me sick and doc gave me Omeprazole but I haven't taken one for over 3 weeks. I haven't had reflux for about 4 weeks. Maybe it's this healthy eating that's helping. No potatoes and not much carbs.

I only take pregabalin regularly and Tramadol if I really need it. I have a healthy diet low sugar lots of fruit and veg but I eat more carbs than protein that helps.me but I also have a muscle disease so my pain flares up if I eat too much protein. Always good to try swapping about your food and see what helps you more x
