Members shared widespread experiences with faint or dizzy feelings, identifying common triggers including dehydration, poor nutrition, stress, pain-related appetite loss, and medication side effects. Several members described managing vertigo and balance problems with practical strategies like wearing light support stockings, staying well hydrated, controlled breathing through episodes, taking prescribed medication when needed, and sitting at the edge of the bed before standing to prevent falls. A recurring theme was the unpredictability of these episodes and the fear they bring, but also the resilience members showed by treating symptoms proactively and supporting one another through the uncertainty.

I get vertigo weekly. Sometimes it lasts for days, other times it passes in minutes. I have medicine to take if I need it,but most times I treat it like a carnival ride and ride it through. Again, music helps.

ahh, so many things. Dehydration, poor nutrition, side effect of med. We always teach to sit at side of bed for a few minutes before standing. Falling is not fun, can be tariffing if alone and potentially fatal if you hit something going down. One step at a time.
