I get up to walk around and do it slowly but it still happens to me. I don’t know why or how. I recently saw a cardiologist abc he put me on a blood pressure medication but it’s part of fibromyalgia. Does anyone else have this too? If so what do you do for it. I don’t want to keep taking pills I don’t need. Thnx.
God bless!

I have had Fibromyalgia for over 34 years. I was put on Cymbalta and Tramadol for the pain and Xanax for the anxiety.
This kept me working and almost normal until I developed dysautonomia at 57. I really think that Fibro is an autonomic dysfunction. I could not find a neurologist in Memphis that even knew anything about dysautonomia.
I started researching my symptoms and ask the neurologist I went to, to order a Tilt Table Test and lo and behold It showed dysautonomia. They can give you different medications to raise your blood pressure but none of those helped and I had a lot of side affects. I had to quit a job in an industry where I had worked almost 40 years due to brain fog, headaches, orthostatic hypotension, fatigue, body aches and pains. I was already having some of these
Symptoms from Fibro so I didn’t realize that the bottom was about to fall out from under me over night. I think I had a adrenal function collapse. The doctors never even mentioned this and I still don’t know if that happened, but I spent 6 mos mostly in bed. Anyone with Orthostatic Hypotension or orthostatic intolerance should see a qualified cardiologist.
vasovagal syncope symtoms, very strange and very real😒 no fun!
