I don't know if there is a correlation between the two, but I experience migraines at least twice a month: whether they are mild or extreme. I remember asking my nerve specialist, and she said yes it is a direct correlation with the two. Hope that helps.

Don't know if this helps anyone but I take rizamelt 10mg for migraines and it works...you are back on deck within an hour. Rizatriptan is its proper name..they dissolve on your tongue.doctor will have to see if it ok for you to have. My migraines have increased since I've had fibromyalgia

I think there is definitely a connecting with fibro & migraines.
I have atypical trigeminal neuralgia in the left eye.
It is similar to having a migraine but in the eye.
Somehow with us, it seems like our nerves get cross wired .
Not surprising that we get head related pain tho certainly not exclusive to the head.
