Wish I liked tea.. Its suppose to be good for you. :) I started taking turmeric about a year ago. I try to do as much natural as I can, because for me... I have tried so many meds that dont work and I get so many side effects. Thank you all for sharing.
Some of us have other conditions that cause inflammation. If we can get some relief with those would help us be able to eliminate some stress in turn would help our Fibro. That's how I look at it.
But headaches which are a symptom of Fibromyalgia, do respond well to anti inflammatory medicine, for me at least..
I have started drinking turmeric lattes which actually seem to help haven't been in as much pain as usual. Turmeric is antiinflammatory.
Turmeric, cinnamon and honey
1/2 tsp turmeric powder or grated root
Pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp Raw Honey
150ml Hot Water
150ml Almond Milk
Hi... It really works. I've been using it for 2 years now. I use dry and fresh. I carry a bottle with me for crises but I drink everyday.
I also use turmeric and back pepper. You can google it but its been making a a lot of diffence. And if you want I can give you some other alternative teas I take and it helped my fibro flares in about 80%.
